1. Service Description

Estimate Guardian provides an AI-powered second opinion on auto repair estimates. Our service analyzes uploaded repair estimates using artificial intelligence to provide pricing assessments, priority recommendations, red flag identification, and suggested questions for your repair shop.

This is not professional mechanical advice. Our analysis is generated by AI and should be used as one input in your decision-making process. Always consult a qualified, ASE-certified mechanic before making repair decisions.

2. No Liability

Estimate Guardian is not responsible for any repair decisions made based on our analysis. The customer assumes all risk associated with vehicle repair decisions. Our analysis is based on AI interpretation and general pricing data, and we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any analysis to your specific situation.

3. No Guarantees

Analysis is based on AI interpretation and general market pricing data. Actual repair costs vary significantly by geographic region, shop specialization, vehicle condition, parts availability, and other factors. Our fair price ranges are estimates based on general market data and should not be construed as quotes or binding price assessments.

4. Pricing and Payment

Each estimate analysis is priced at $49 USD per analysis at the time of purchase. Payment is required before analysis begins. We accept credit/debit cards via Stripe and cryptocurrency via BTCPay Server.

5. Refund Policy

Card payments: We offer a no-questions-asked refund for card payments. You can request a refund directly from your report page using the one-click refund button. Refunds are processed immediately via Stripe. Upon refund, your report access and PDF download will be disabled.

Cryptocurrency payments: Due to the nature of blockchain transactions, crypto payments are not automatically reversible. To request a refund for a cryptocurrency payment, email support@estimateguardian.com with your report link. Refunds will be processed manually.

6. Data Usage

Anonymized estimate data may be used in aggregate to improve our service and build pricing databases. No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Acceptable Use

One estimate per payment. Each purchase covers analysis of a single repair estimate from a single shop. Multi-page documents from the same shop for the same visit are permitted. Comparing estimates from multiple shops requires separate purchases.

This service is for personal, consumer use only. Commercial use including but not limited to fleet analysis, insurance claims processing, and competitive intelligence requires a separate commercial license. Contact support@estimateguardian.com for commercial licensing.

8. Report Access

Reports are accessible via a unique URL for 90 days from the date of generation. After 90 days, the report link will expire and the report will no longer be accessible. We recommend downloading the PDF copy for your records.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the email address provided at purchase.
